Icing on the Cake is a family owned & operated bakery. Brenden and Kim Cortina opened Icing on the Cake Bakery in 1987. Brenden's passion for baking came from years of watching his father who was one of the owners of Ann's Newfield Bakery of Bridgeport and later Frances' Pastry Shoppe of Hamden.
Many recipes have been passed down through
generations and

prides itself in baking
"the old-fashioned way."
All of our baking is done on premises providing fresh baked goods everyday and our staff is friendly and knowledgeable. We hope to see you in our store soon!
